When using the Odyssey 2.4G Diode Laser, you can change the MODE of the laser from either pulsed or continuous wave, the power in Watts with INCREASE/DECREASE buttons, and the current status of the operation from either READY or stand-by condition.

In the continuous mode, the laser energy is uninterrupted while the laser is activated. In the Pulse mode, the energy flow is interrupted by an electrical shutter system. The pulsed mode is less aggressive and allows tissue cooling between pulses providing more compliance to non anesthetic procedures.

In addition the laser offers 4 operating settings, Manual or three different programs that are user defined.
